Cape Town again
Mon 25/9
Yesterday was the last day of Paul's conference ( international principal's conference)
I had the day to myself and explored more of the waterfront and restaurants and sights. There is a Ferris wheel that I am sure Paul would like to do as well as many cultural displays and entertainment. It was still a public holiday on Monday so may people and kids were out and about.

This is one of many boats or ships or yachts available for harbour tours. This is the cutest way by pirate ship.
This type of day care center would do well at home. The cost could be an issue however.
After Paul's conference we had a swim in the pool, a sauna and a spa. All indoors with stunning views. This is the view from the pool
The first day the pool was really warm but it got colder each day and many people other than me commented on this.
That night Paul's group of conference delegates from NSW and partners had dinner together at a local Italian restaurant to mark the end of the conference. Apparently the same restaurant they were having dinner in the night of my planned arrival to Cape Town. The night of the missed flight and ensuing disaster and fear for my life and safety, same thing but sounds better when you say it twice. Etc etc etc. I heard of the level of Paul's concern for my safety and his amazing calmness and discretion. Ha ha ha ha ha. Still as we both acknowledge, Paul will never be able to do anything as stupid as missing a flight. I have that prize for ever.
Tomorrow we start our African tour. I hope the new hotel is half as good as the Westin.
